She has argued over 15 times before the South Carolina Court of Appeals and Supreme Court, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit in a wide variety of practice areas, including wrongful death, products liability, insurance bad faith, medical negligence, personal injury, and mesothelioma-asbestos.
- Kathleen attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in journalism and mass communication. Kathleen then attended the Charleston School of Law, where she graduated summa cum laude and received the Arthur Gasque Howe Trial Advocacy Award. She was a member of The Charleston Law Review and the Moot Court Board.
- Kathleen is admitted to practice in South Carolina and Georgia state courts, as well as the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, and the U.S. Supreme Court. She served as law clerk to the Honorable John Cannon Few, then-Chief Judge for the South Carolina Court of Appeals.
